Does anyone really enjoy a Yankee swap gift exchange? They are hard to shop for… finding the perfect gift in a limited price range suitable for a wide audience. The game is essentially a lottery, usually picking numbers from a hat. The person with the magic number get’s their pick of all the gifts while just about everyone else is stuck with something they don’t like. Many people don’t feel comfortable about stealing gifts from others and you have to admit it never feels good to have something you really like snatched from you and replaced with something you have no interest in.

This year try something better. A gift auction from Tinsel Town!
Shopping is fun and easy because you are not limited to one gift or trying to find something most people will enjoy. If you have a suggested price range of $50 you can get two or three gifts that total $50 making it much easier to shop for. Get a serious gift for $40, a silly gift for $7 and then top it off with a final $3 gift of a pack of gum and a scratch lottery ticket. Your choices are limitless and lend to the entertainment value of the game!

Liven up that office party! Everyone leaves with something they like because you are only going to bid on things you want. Sure you might get out-bid (that’s part of the game) but eventually you’ll have more money than everyone else and guarantees to win the next one.

Families can save thousands of $$! I invented Tinsel Town Auction because we had a large family and gift buying was a nightmare! You have to find the perfect gift for a dozen people and that gets EXPENSIVE! When our family switched to the auction game not only was it fun and easy to shop for, not only did everyone save a ton of money… but it was a smashing success! Everyone was laughing their heads off all evening as we opened and bid on the craziest presents. Nobody got a gift they didn’t really want or like. What could be better?!
